Southend Punk was pleased to attend and support 'Noisy! Night #3' at Chinnery's on 21.05.07, a celebratory night commemorating Five Issues and Two Years of local Fanzine Noisy!

Four Excellent bands played - Ten Tigers, Anger is a Gift, Rizzo and Zen Motel - and everyone in attendance really enjoyed it.

Going back to Strange Stories, and before, the Southend area has always enjoyed an alternative press to review, disseminate, inform and entertain, and Noisy! is proud to continue this tradition.

Along with Alison B's ever excellent 'zine 'Bubblegum Slut', Essex has some great Fanzines, and I believe it's important to support and read these excellent journals!

A compendium is being planned, in a joint liaison between SouthendPunk.com and Noisy! fanzine, that will document the history of music fanzines in the area, from 1977 to the present day.
